Mary Barbara "Mary Bob" Macrum, 79, of Frederick, Md., died Saturday, April 15, 2006, at her home. She was the wife of Samuel H. Macrum. She was born in Kennett Square, Pa., on Jan. 25, 1927, a daughter of the late C. Gilbert and Sylvia Moore Hazlett. She was one of the first female real estate agents and broker in Frederick County. She was associated with several local realtors and together she and her husband owned and operated Mary Mac Realtors. She also had owned and operated in New Market, Md., Mary Bob's Antiques and made and sold custom cut and pierced lamp shades. She was a member of the Faith United Church of Christ, Women of the Elks Frederick Lodge No. 684, the New Market Garden Club and was at one time active with the Frederick Republican Committee. She had also been past president of the Adamstown PTA and loved dancing. Surviving, in addition to her husband, are three children, James H. Macrum, of Frederick, Md., Barbara L. Bossard-Bilay and her husband, Gabriel, of Darnestown, Md., and Mary Ann Walsh, of Frederick, Md.; one brother, Theodore J. Hazlett, of Kennett Square; six grandchildren; one great-grandson; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Dennis K. Bossard; grandson, David Blair Bossard; and a brother, Bud Hazlett.The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, April 19, 2006, at the KEENEY AND BASFORD FUNERAL HOME, 106 E. Church St., Frederick, Md. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 20, 2006, at the funeral home. The Rev. R. Christopher Spruill, associate pastor of Grace United Church of Christ, will officiate. Interment will be in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Frederick. Pallbearers will be James H. Macrum, Jeremy Macrum, Cody Macrum, Ray Creamer, David Gray and Harvey Miller.In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Faith United Church of Christ, 9333 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD 21702 or to Hospice of Frederick County, P.O.
